I'm so confused on this question http://gyazo.com/267684bd3acdcc8aa01ab7813fbb051e.png can anyone explain?

OpenStudy (texaschic101):

we will use point slope form because we have a set of points and a slope. y - y1 = m(x - x1) slope(m) = 13/8 (4,7) x1 = 4 and y1 = 7 now just sub your stuff into the formula y - 7 = 13/8(x - 4) y - 7 = 13/8x - 52/8 (which reduces to -21/4 y = 13/8x - 21/4 + 7 y = 13/8x - 21/4 + 28/4 y = 13/8x + 7/4 any questions ?
