OpenStudy (kailee1423):

Why are plasmids so widely used in recombinant DNA studies? A. because it is difficult to insert new genes into them B. because they can be used to transform bacteria C. because they naturally contain much foreign DNA D. because they cannot be cut with restriction enzymes I will give medal

OpenStudy (shrutipande9):

there is process of DNA transfer called conjugation in which the plasmid DNA is transferred from 1 organism to other. can u infer d ans now?

OpenStudy (kailee1423):

I'm still not sure.

OpenStudy (shrutipande9):

see in recombinant DNA technique...a gene of intrest is inserted in the plasmid...den the plasmid naturally goes an infects other organisms...take eg of agrobacterium.. so according to me its B

OpenStudy (kailee1423):

Thank you:)
