Two spheres have a combined volume of 148 cubic inches and a combined surface area of 160 square inches. Find the radii of the two spheres. What are the equations used to find the radii?

OpenStudy (amistre64):

do we know the general formulas for volume and surface area? i think the rest is just a system of 2 equations in 2 unknown

OpenStudy (amistre64):

\[V_1+V_2=148\]\[S_1+S_2=160\] im pretty sure that volume and surface area deal with a radius only, so that might make it even simpler ... maybe not

OpenStudy (amistre64):

4/3 pi r^3 4 pi r^2 those sound familiar for volume and surface area
