So after this course I will be able to create my own program?Or this course is for a just one specified program?

One of the reasons that universities try to get students into these courses very early in their studies is so that the students can use the programming that they've learned to write programs for their more advanced studies.

I hope this response isn't too late! Once we have learned the basics of writing code, variables etc.. you can extrapolate this into making much more sophisticated and advanced projects. For instance (if, else) could be used for extremely basic areas such as <4 or if 4*5>14 but you could take this and make much more awesome projects like traffic lights that work based on which road has the most traffic :)
