Which of the following are true in spherical geometry? Check all that apply. A. All right angles are still equal. B. A circle can be drawn with any point at its center. C. The sum of the measures of the angles of a triangle is greater than 180 degrees. D. There are many straight lines between any two nonpolar points I'm thinking the answer A, B, & D!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so A is true, B is true, C can't be true because a triangle cant be more than 180 degrees and D is true, so you are correct :D

If it is a circle on the surface of a sphere,then c is absolutely true.

thanks for confirming ! :)

@surjithayer isn;t a sphere also a circle ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

when we cut a sphere by a plane we get a circle.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

examples of sphere are lemon,tennis ball etc.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

A and B are not true in spherical geometry, C and D are though. I just did this same problem
