\[\frac{24}{36} = \frac{n}{2}\]What is n?

OpenStudy (esshotwired):

It would be 1.33 repeating but it can be 1 1/3 cups. You would divide 36 and 24 which is 1.5. Then you would divide 2 by 1.5, and then that is the answer.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

why do i need to divide it by 2?

OpenStudy (esshotwired):

You need to divide 2 by 1.5 to find how much sugar to use with 24 cups.
