Anybody want to put my facts into a short paragraph to make it sound like a news report?

-Disagreements about the rule of Antioch slowed progress and split forces
-August 1098 they reached Jerusalem
-By then Jerusalem was ruled by Muslim Arabs
-Seized Jerusalem for more than a month before Jerusalem surrendered
-When Godfrey died, Baldwin became first king of the Christian Kingdom of Jerusalem
-Many crusaders returned to their homes after the expedition
