find the values of the trigonometric functions. Round off results. 1) sin 36.0 degrees i get 1.70 2)sec 7.8 degrees i get 1.00 find for the given trigonometric functions. Round off results. 4) cotθ=14.4 i get 3.970 find the value of the indicated trgonometric functions. 5) find cscθ=0.1063 i get 9.41 are all these correct and did i round them to the correct significant digit?

@jim_thompson5910 can you check my short answers please

@SithsAndGiggles

OpenStudy (jdoe0001):

hmmm check your calculator is in Degrees mode, assuming that was say sin(36 degrees)

OpenStudy (jdoe0001):

is not 1.7 btw

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok so for the first is sin 36.0 i did 1/ sin*36

OpenStudy (jdoe0001):

1/sin*36? what do you mean?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i'm thinking this is the function i should use

OpenStudy (jdoe0001):

ohh you meant \(\bf sin^{-1}(36^o)\quad ?\\ \quad \\ btw \qquad sin^{-1}(\theta) \ne\cfrac{1}{sin(\theta)}\)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

that would then give me 1.592

OpenStudy (jdoe0001):

"find \(\color{red}{\text{the values}}\) of the trigonometric functions. Round off results."

OpenStudy (jdoe0001):

the inverse functions are to get the angle, once you have the "value"

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah that's what i got .587

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i don't know why i did scs
