True or False? The Germans met little resistance at the Battle of the Ardennes because French leaders believed the thick forest was impossible for an army to pass through.

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

This is unnecessary . Can aa army with tanks and etc pass through the forest? Just think

OpenStudy (anonymous):

think about it manned aa guns, tanks infantry, the only thing that would work is air support.

OpenStudy (alyssajobug):

well excuse me for not asking a question

OpenStudy (anonymous):

lol^

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sweet i got a medal

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The French were not stupid they thought the Germans will not go through the Ardennes Forest because they thought they will do a repeat of world war one going through Belgium but Germans went through the Ardennes because they will cut off the French and British Expeditionary force in Belgium. The Germans lost some tanks in the forest but met little resistance after getting out of the forest.
