You can go on Google Image Search and enter "sphere" or "sphere diagrams" or whatever and get some ideas on how to sketch.

Make up some dimensions. If you have a basketball, tennis ball, and ping pong ball, you can look up the regulation dimensions on the Google. Then, use those for your calculations.
