I'm not sure I you can see it, but here it is...

@Directrix

Directrix (directrix):

Is that a cat eye type marble? It does not have a 3-D look to it but I think it is okay. Lemme look at the measurements.

Directrix (directrix):

Would you post the assignment instructions in this thread? I have forgotten what was to be measured and what was to be found. Thanks.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

How would I make a marble 3-D looking? Lol. I'm no artist. ): And okay.

Directrix (directrix):

If the radius of the marble is 2", then the circumference is C = 2*pi*r = 2*pi* 2 = 12.566 inches. It looks as it you multiplied that times pi*r yet again.

Directrix (directrix):

Back to the drawing board. You have to get the circumference by measuring and THEN calculate the radius.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I'm just going to throw that away. It's garbage.

Directrix (directrix):

Toss it because you have to begin with the circumference and show how to get the radius.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I noticed. Lol. brb. ):

Directrix (directrix):

Use 2.356 inches for circumference of marble.
