Use this : m(slope)=Y2-Y1/X2-X1 In therer : X2=-2 X1=0 Y2=11 Y1=5 Then : Y2-Y=m(X1-X) Got it ?;)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well point-slope form y-y1=m(x-x1) m=slope and a point given is can be (x1,y1) and the equation to find slop from two lines is m=(y2-y1)/(x2-x1)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

make sure when that (x1,y1) and (x2,y2) come from their corresponding points

@insanitycat : Very good !:) Thank you ! @Mercedes00312 : @insanitycat way is right !:)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

And in the secound x and y are in the form !;)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

can you tell us whate you got for slope @Mercedes00312
