where is the best free pythoncourse online class

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i can't tell you which online course can teach you python best, but if you are just starting off with programming as i am, many resources on the internet are within your reach. i'm saying that most websites offering a helping hand with programming and with python are probably going to be helpful because i think it has to start with the process of how programmers think. with that said, i suggest going over this website that teaches you how to think like a computer scientist through the use of python http://www.openbookproject.net/thinkcs/python/english2e/ i consider this website as like learning about a country's culture by first studying their basic language

There are a number of good ones, but the question is what do you want to use Python for? See, your goal in learning changes which class is best. For games, computer science, or information handling (informatics) are the basic choices.

I reckon a good start is CodeAcademy... decent introduction, generally speaking. But I'd probably still get a tutorial manual from like OReillys or someone like that.
