Solve the inequality: 1/2(6x - 2y) >_ 4

OpenStudy (anonymous):

for x or y?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I think I am doin it right, but am not sure... this is what I get. 1/2(6x) - 1/2(2y)--- distribute. 3x - 1y >_ 4 subtract by 3x -1y >_ 4 - 3x divide by -1 to both sides.. y < _ 3x - 4 Would that be right? thanks.
