Sorry its long: Charisse is buying two different types of cereals from the bulk bins at the store. Granola costs $2.29 per pound and muesli costs $3.75 per pound. She has $7.00. Use x as the amount of granola and y as the amount of muesli. a. Write and graph an inequality for the amounts of each cereal she can buy. b. How many pounds of granola can she buy if she buys 1.5 pounds of muesli?

I know its 2.29x + 3.75y but know the sign.

*dont know the sign

OpenStudy (anonymous):

a. 2.29x+3.75y=7 b. 2.29x+3.75*1.5=7 2.29x+5.625=7 -5.625 -5.625 2.29x=1.375 divide both sides by 2.29 x=0.6
