OpenStudy (anonymous):

Pepsin ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Pepsin or Erypsin?? I'm confused Which one completes the digestion of protein ?

OpenStudy (aaronq):

there are a few that digest proteins, e.g. chymotrypsin, trypsin, carboxypeptidases. its not just one. they all cleave different peptide bonds depending on the R groups of he amino acids

OpenStudy (anonymous):

But I have to choose one from them :/

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i say its pepsin

OpenStudy (anonymous):

My book says pepsin and erypsin both :p This questions wants only one..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

try searching then

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i did some searching and wat i got was pepsin

OpenStudy (aaronq):

i 2nd pepsin

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Protein Digestion in Stomach: Pepsinogen is activated by HCl to become active pepsin that starts hydrolysis of protein . Pepsin changes proteins into proteoses , petones and polypeptides.

OpenStudy (anonymous):
