Try Alice in Wonderland, lots of Colorful Characters there, Or Maybe Where the Wild things Are. Or in 20,000 Leagues under the sea Captain Nemo has a diving suit.

She could do lots of mystery character spuds! Nancy Drew the crime solving potato, Sherlock Holmes Spud and his Side kick Onion Watson hehe...but there are so many books out there! Why don't you take her to the library and have her pick and find a brand new book of her own! There are so many choices and she'll be able to have the bonus of getting more books to read for herself as well. You never know...you might find something new that you've never even heard about. Ooo she could do the original Disney books, that's an idea too...but I think the library would be a lot of fun for her. :)
