two parallel current carrying wire attract each other whereas two parallel beam of electrons moving repel each other .but moving electrons means flow of current.why

I havent read something like this but i would guess if it were it would be caused by the magnetic fields genereted
In the case of the electron beam the electrons experience both an coulomb force of the charge as well as a magnetic force of the motion of the electrons. The coulomb force is stronger so the beams repel. In the case of the wires the electrons are contained in a metal structure that shields them from the coulomb force leaving only the magnetic force to act.
