We have a mobile enabled version you should try out. About 15% of our users have used it and found it pretty helpful.

Only I'd recommend using WiFi since the mobile version of openstudy uses a lot of data which could drain your data plan.

does app also work on polling rather push model?
according to my understanding polling will reduce data usage and increase battery on mobile

It's not an app, just a mobile version of openstudy. It resizes the page to your screen resolution.
