What are the restrictions of x^2+4x-45/x^2+10x+9

These are my answer choices

OpenStudy (nurali):

First, factor the numerator and denominator to get (x−5)(x+9)/(x+9)(x+1) Then, Find the things that are the same on the top and bottom and you can cancel them out. In this case, you would cancel the (x+9) from the top and the bottom. You would then receive (x-5)/(x+1) for the answer, and the restriction on the variable would be x can not = -1 because that would be the divide by 0 error

OpenStudy (nurali):

I think Second is the Correct.
