im lost on this i never fully understood funtions Use the functions to answer the question. f(x) = 2x + 1; g(x) = x^2 Which is the value of (f ◦ g)(–5)? (Points : 1) - 49 - 19 51 11

hartnn (hartnn):

(f ◦ g)(–5) = f(g(-5)) so, first find g(-5) by plugging in x=-5 in g(x)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so i would have -5x^2?

hartnn (hartnn):

you put '-5' instead of 'x' , so |dw:1382207604657:dw| got this ?
