Find the m arc NI if m angle NFI=70

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (jdoe0001):

you need the angle or the arc length?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

shouldnt radius be given if you want to find the arc lenght?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I actually have no idea, that's exactly how the question was written and I don't understand.

OpenStudy (jdoe0001):

if it's then angle, then |dw:1382221231537:dw|

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i dont think thats what the question says.....sounds like finding minor arc NI if minor angle NFI is given. but this concept will be used. NOI will be 140 degree and using angle = length * radius , find the arc length NI, but no radius is given

OpenStudy (jdoe0001):

right

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh never mind I figured it out, it's 140 degrees because the arc is half of the angle,

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what u are talking about is "angle" subtended by the arc....not the arc itself. The question is not clear.
