I need help with a metaphor.

Write a metaphor to describe a summer day.

What do you think of when you think of a summer's day? myself, I think of sunshine, adventure, and opportunities--along with remembrances of happy times past.

So, I might say something like "A summer's day is now a love no longer new, but familiar." Probably not all that good, but I might have gotten the idea right.
