sorry 10.6 lol i typed that wrong... SOH(sin) = opposite/hypotenuse CAH(cos) = adjacent/hypotenuse TOA(tan) = opposite/adjacent

in this case we need adjacent and hypotenuse so use CAH cos(45) = x/15 x = 15cos(45) = 10.6
