Use the identities cos(A+B) = cos(A)cos(B) - sin(A)sin(B) and cos(A-B) = cos(A)cos(B) + sin(A)sin(B) sin(30) = 1/2 cos(30) = sqrt(3)/2 Substitute and simplify
