I need help learning how to convert kg to metric tons and kg to g

OpenStudy (anonymous):

1.00 metric ton of x (10^3 kg/1 metric ton)(10^3g/1 kg) ....

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no one can help?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I just need to see how to do the conversions

OpenStudy (anonymous):

1 kilogram = 0.001 metric tons 1kg=1000 g

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I need this specifically for a chemistry question, but the chemistry section is always dead

OpenStudy (anonymous):

For example convert 5kg to g? so 5kg(1000g/1kg)=5000g convert 10kg to metric ton? so 10kg(0.001metric ton/kg)=0.01 metric ton. :)

You get it @TokyoDown ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Say I have 3.12x10^4/98.08 (1kg/10^3g)(1 metric ton/10^3 kg) how would i get the conversion of that?
