determine the number will complete the square to solve the eqquation after the constant term has been written. do not sole it x^2+2x-3=0

OpenStudy (anonymous):

First add 3 to both sides, you get x^2 + 2x = 3 Now take (1/2) of the x term, which is 1/2 of 2 and squate that...1/2 of 2 is 1, and 1 squared is 1. you add 1 to both sides.
