Hi, Id like to get some info about vectors. Can the magnitude of a vector ever equal or be less than one of its components?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Nope

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Trig functions don't allow it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Because is a vector a tan relationship?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well you're trying to multiply it by sine and cosine and neither can be greater than 1 so the magnitude of the vector can't be less than its components.

Thank you!
