Which of the functions have a range of all real numbers greater than or equal to 1 or less than or equal to -1? Check all that apply. A. y = sec x B. y = tan x C. y = cot x D. y = csc x

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sec x hv a range of all real number as secx=1/cosx and cos x can be closer to 0. resulting infinity for secx. same goes to cosecx too. tanx hv a range of all real numbers as well. (tanx= sinx/cosx) and cot x hv a range of all real numbers as well. ( cotx=1/tanx and tanx can reach 0)

So all of them...?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

all the functions hv a range of all real numbers .

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It was A & D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Mendicant_Bias hey could try this one for me?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

again i apologize. lol you are correct answer is A and D

OpenStudy (mendicant_bias):

Oh, wait, yeah. Did you read what he posted? Scroll down and the answer should be obvious, if you need help understanding it, just ask.

thnks Mendicant Bias

OpenStudy (mendicant_bias):

No problem, dude.
