Any CPU will be good for some things, but what it comes down to is if it will be good enough for what you are doing. That depends on you.

It is like asking if a particular vehicle is good. They all drive on the road, but a truck has very different abilities than a motorcycle.

It looks like it is a reasonably recent CPU. It should be able to run all the basics. What you described should not take much performance at all.

As a general rule, I tend to shy away from the cheapest unit and go at least one up. I find that many manufacturers cut too many corners on the least expensive units.
