OpenStudy (arbyj):

What role does pyruvate and atp play in cellular respiration?

OpenStudy (shrutipande9):

cellular respiration includes glycolysi, krebs cycle and ETS. pyruvate is the end product of glycolysis. and the energy that is obtained due to the whole process of respiration is in the form of ATP hwich is adenosine triphosphate...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Pyruvate is the end product of glycolysis which after oxidative decarboxylation, is changed into Acetyl CoA . Acetyl CoA is further used in Krebs Cycle Glycolysis , Krebs cycle and Electron transport chain all are used to produce energy in the form of ATP. ATP is the energy currency of the cells.
