I need help on letter B!!!
Bruce has a bottle that contains 60% of lemon juice and the rest water. The bottle has 1 liter of water. Part A: Write an equation in one variable that can be used to find the total number of liters of lemon juice and water in the bottle. Define the variable used in the equation. (5 points) Part B: How many liters of lemon juice are present in the bottle? Show your work.
Can you find the total volume if you know that 40% of that volume = 1 liter? Can you find the volume of juice if you know the total volume?
Why would I need the volume? What I posted was all of the information I was given...
I just said volume because the units in the problem are liters, a measure of volume. Let me reword that: Can you find the total number of liters if you know that 40% of that = 1 liter? Can you find the number of liters of juice if you know the total number of liters?
