I've been studying the history of the Roman Empire and the similarities that exist between it and the United States is really striking. It's easier to hide one's evil-doings these days, but back in Roman days, you didn't have many ways to do things completely out of site. I mean, these days are good for corporations and the powerful, but for Suzy Six Pack and Joe Lunch-bucket, it stinks. They/ We are under constant surveillance. Considering how we run our country, treat each other, and unwittingly exploit people in other countries, do you think there's any chance we can turn this mess around?

OpenStudy (kenljw):

My experience with surveillance is really not new, I've recognized through outward and inward observations that even though I appear to be alone physically I was being observed. Whether by remote viewing or some other supposedly spiritual medium I believe this is done though this is not considered in any legal case. With it others can get leads against you or others where physical evidence can be found, this was not my concern but a persons personal research can be captured for others to use. People today really don't believe such things are possible, but I've learned what someone believes may have very little to do with what really is.

I guess as long as you're happy that's what really counts most. Maybe I'm making it sound worse than it is. I suppose when we had small towns people did a lot of gossiping about each other. Human nature, I guess. Personally, I'm not worried much about the spiritual realm. But I am annoyed about too much corporate control, which is something that is a problem facing our democracy right now (I mean the US).

Have you ever heard of a outward symptom of a inward cause. In the denial of certain phenomenon, as with supposed secular society, people lose a natural part of themselves. I once defined a word to my older brother who is a scientist and he was a little surprised if not fearful. I defined the word the way the Supreme Court would interpret it, the word "read" to scan the area for information. When frontiersmen move in a wilderness they leave intentional trails to find the way back or others to follow. When were born into this world we are following a trail, some forged by our family's or accepted parts of society. In everyone's life they have to decide if they want to follow anymore or what they really want to follow or to forge a way themselves. There's a prophesy the King will breaks through and follow God, I guess this would depend on your considerations of God.
