Scientist wants to estimate the volume of Earth and uses a sphere as a model for the planet. According to NASA, Earth's diameter is 12,757 km. The volume of a sphere is four-thirds of the product of Pi and the radius cubed, using 3.14 for pie and that the radius of a sphere is equal to two times its diameter, estimate the volume of Earth.

OpenStudy (wolf1728):

diameter = 12,757 km radius = half the diameter = 6,378.5 Volume = 1.3333 * pi * 6,387.5³ Can you finish that? (I think you can).
