Find the transition matrix corresponding to the change of basis from \[(u_1, u_2)\] to \[(e_1, e_2)\] \[u_1 = (1,2)^T\]\[u_2 = (2, 5)^T\]
I don't really understand what we talked about in class at all and haven't had much success reading the book, so if you could be clear about what you did that would be great. thanks!
I really don't know what you want to do? since the process to find out the matrix transformation from old base to a new base is put new base in the front and old base in the back then apply row echelon to get Identity matrix from the front , the back matrix then is matrix transformation. Yours have Identity available, no thing to do.|dw:1382401616414:dw|
