OpenStudy (anonymous):

Study is defined as: The devotion of time and attention to acquiring knowledge on an academic subject; a detailed investigation and analysis of a subject or situation. Is anyone studying history? If so, let me know what area you’re interested in, and I’ll investigate it with you.

OpenStudy (kenljw):

When knowledge is totally academic its said to be moot, practicality and actually reality may be different. In the 14th century there was a plague that killed a third of the world, especially in Europe. In Revelations there's a prophesy that a plague that will come out of the Tigris Euphrates valley that will destroy a third of the world. This was that prophesy which was supposed to have been written ca. 90 AD, ACE, when it comes to words one has to decide the truth of the source and I mean any source.

Agree about the value of a source. But I was mainly aiming that at the people who are in the "Do my homework for me" faction. The place is called Open Study, but there's a great deal of Open Questions. That's why I placed the definition of "study" in my posting.
