Because Annie does not give up on Helen and does not let Helen disobey and get away with it she teaches her things the right way or it is no way until she does it. Helen realizes its easier the way Annie wants it done. It takes Annie a while to break Helen through but once Helen sees shes only trying to help she starts obeying and doing things the right way.
