"EOM" just means you start counting from the end of the month, rather than the contract date. 25th with 3/10, the discount ends a few days into the next month. 25th with 3/10 EOM, the discount ends 10 days into the next month. EOM does NOT extend an extra 10 days. It extends to the 10th day of the next month. From the 25th, that might be 4-7 days, depending on which month we're talking about.
