The plate is rotated 90° about the origin in the counterclockwise direction. In the image trapezoid, what are the coordinates of the endpoints of the side congruent to side EH? (8, 4) and (5, 2) (4, -8) and (2, -5) (-8, -4) and (-5, -2) (-8, -4) and (-5, -7)

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

rotate 90 :- (x, y) --> (-y, x)

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

have a look at pic, can u tell the coordinates of H ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

(-2, 5)

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

good :) apply the transformation : rotate 90

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

(x, y) --> (-y, x) (-2, 5) --> ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

(-5, 2)?

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

careful

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

(x, y) --> (-y, x) (-2, 5) --> (-5, -2)

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

look at ur options, you got lucky, oly one has (-5, -2)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok, can you help me with this one? What will be the location of T' in the image Trapezoid S'T'U'V'? (12, 6) (12, 7) (16, 7) (16, 6)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

is that the complete question ?

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

it doesnt say, wat transformation to apply to trap STUV :o

OpenStudy (anonymous):

woops. Rectangle J'K'L'M' shown on the grid is the image of Rectangle JKLM after transformation. The same transformation will be applied on Trapezoid STUV.

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

have a look at pic, can u tell me coordinates of M can u tell me coordinates of M'
