A bubble originating at the bottom of a lake rises to the surface within 10.0 seconds with an acceleration of 10.0 meters/second2. What is the depth of the lake?
draw me a picture! :)
No fun... Anyway, use the first equation of motion. Displacement, the depth of the lake, is the unknown, but you know the initial velocity (0m/s), the acceleration, and the time it took to get from the bottom of the lake to the top. Plug and chug :)
\[d =\cancel{v_ot}^0 + \frac{1}{2}at^2 \\ h = \frac{1}{2}at^2\]
sorry i was finishing a test didnt see the notifacation i founf the answer lol ^.^ but thanks for help me medl you ^o^
^^ thanks!
no no biggy ^.^
phyisics is confusing :/
very. Agreed; it's always easier when there's a picture methinks though. At least then it feels like scribbling might bring about some insight >_>
XD yes yes i completly agree ummm can you help me its a 72 question test an im only on 32 an its very very hard :(
sure :)
