what is the question?

solve the equation

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I don't know what to do but it just say to solve equation

OpenStudy (anonymous):

If you are wanting this to be multiplied out, the answer is 3x^3+8x^2-5x+4 However if you want it solving you need to put it equal to = and factorise the quadtratic to get (3x-1)(x-4)(x+1)=0 Therefore x is -1 or 4 or -1/3.

Oops, ment to say put it equal to 0
