What do you need help with?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@watermelon16 can u help?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes sorry... I left my computer for a moment. Have you learned to find the slope of the line or anything yet?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you only need 2 points to find the equation. and use other points to test out your result..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

equation of a line is in the form y = mx + b

OpenStudy (anonymous):

where m is a slope and b is a constant.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you find m by this formula : m = (y2-y1)/(x2-x1) with 2 points (x1,y1) and (x2,y2)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

pick 2 points (x1,y1) and (x2,y2) from your table there, tell me what is the slope m with that formula ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Do you understand how to do it?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

would answer be B?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the answer is a

OpenStudy (anonymous):

can u help me with some more?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@greenarrow22

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so

OpenStudy (anonymous):

B&C??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i have a question for you do you know what to do

OpenStudy (anonymous):

if not i should show you have to solve it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah ik

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the answers are c and d

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so look at the first number and find it on the x axes and then the second and find it on the y axes see if they are on the line

OpenStudy (anonymous):

D?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

for the first qestion its the first answer and i don't know what the second one is asking

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok you have to do this one

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so look at the x and find if the y of that x is on the line

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay
