HELP. What in the world do I do??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (***[isuru]***):

first. find the areas of triangles area of a triangle = (base x height )/2 hence 2 smaller triangles r congruent ... u can find the area of one triangle and multipy them by 2 to get the area of 2 triangles... consider the smaller triangle.. base = w height = y now wt will be the area ?

ah I'm so confused :( i'm sorry, I still don't understand. could you show me an example on one of them?

OpenStudy (***[isuru]***):

hence the 2 smaller triangles r congruent... there sides, bases and heights r equal which means|dw:1382468695484:dw|
