the rising action in a story is basically the main thing that is going on in the story which will lead to the climax in the story. The climax is basically the most intense or exciting part or peak in the story. The Exposition is kinda like the beginning of a story where the main conflict is introduced. And the denouement is the part where everything is brought together for the end of the story and everything is revealed and out together.
