Thank you!
is there a speed the ball was hit at? or is that all the information?
That's all the information that was given, but your diagram really helped.
ok, im going to figure this one out first, then post it ^_^
Haha okay!
I apologize for this taking so long. I'm unable to solve this problem to get an actual number answer. I can, however, solve it and have the answer be an equation. do you know if the answer is a number or an equation?
It looks like it is supposed to be a number, but if you can solve it with an equation, that works too.
hmm.. a number.... do you have the answer by chance?
I do not. So maybe it's supposed to be an equation?
this is a tough one! have you guys been studying triangles or kinematic equations?
Yeah we have. Couldn't you just find the angles and then maybe finding the height would help find the speed?
you have been studying both? or just kinematic equations?
Both
hmmm.... haha, i'm sorry i'm not more help! sometimes the big part of solving the problem is figuring out what the teacher what's you to learn!
Haha that's fine. I'll look at my equations again and try and figure it out. Thanks though!
