What if I am just going around looking at any questions and giving medal to whomever I feel like? is that wrong?

OpenStudy (zale101):

i sometimes do that, but i only do it whenever i see someone doing a hard work on aproblem and they haven't got a medal yet, i just give them for their credit

OpenStudy (zale101):

but if u just give medals to anyone without acknowledging their work, seems wrong to me :\

OpenStudy (preetha):

???? Why would you give medals randomly? Please give medals when you think folks deserve it - when they are helpful, the explanation is good etc.

I didn't mean totally randomly, but I see someone worked hard but didn't get the problem right.... I medal for hard work.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

^ like if they had trouble solving the problem but tried their best anyway...I give medals if they solve it correctly without much help, or tried their best anyway. Sometimes I give them one because they gave me one.

@BeckieBird, I would never give a medal to someone who just did the work and posted the answer w/o asking for engagment.
