Anytime, I am taking Economics this year.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i do have three more true and false questions that i am stuck on

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@SolomonZelman nominal GDP is calculated using unchanging prices True or False unemployment can force the economy into an expansion True or Flase expansionary polices involve increasing spending for all banks in the country True or False

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

For number 1, it is false, because Real GDP is calculated using unchanging prices not nominal.

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

For number 2, it is false, because would Economy really "expand" w/ unemployment? No the opposite.

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

3) I think this one is True.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@SolomonZelman what are three types of investments? explan each

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

Stocks - a portion of the ownership of a corporation (explain this word more?). A share in a corporation gives the owner of the stock a stake in the company and its profits. Bonds - A debt investment in which an investor loans money to an entity (can be either corporate or governmental) that borrows the funds for a defined period of time at a fixed interest rate. Cash - Short-term obligations, usually fewer than 90 days, that provide a return in the form of interest payments. With a lesser risk and profit. (for example cash investments are - Money market funds & certificates of deposit)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@SolomonZelman i thought it was Business fixed investment, Residential investment, Inventory investment: hhmmm...

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

Investment could mean various things....

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

I know Money, Bonds & Stocks, that's all I know.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@solomonzelman ok not saying you are wrong i just cam across those three but i could be wrong lol.. what about this qyestion how can you describe the three theories of the causes of inflation and explain how inflation is used to messure economic performance

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

I know, K. I remember that investment can mean something else, but those are only two of them. Let me check my notes. yes I see only two if that what it means: Index Mutual Funds Managed Mutual Funds.

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

So since it asks for 3 investments, I think therefore....

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

I already checked my notes and told you the result......

OpenStudy (anonymous):
