4x+y=6
it is 2 just act like the x isn't even there subtract the 4 from the six, so 6-4=2x you need the x after the 2 or the answer isn't correct.
Dude! What are you doing?
I thought you couldn't subtract or combine things that aren't like terms. So 4x+6 = 4x + y beause you can't combine either right?
i mean 4x+y = 4x + y
how do you get 4x on both sides? Are you tired?
The equation is 4x+y=6, and where do you get 4x+6 = 4x + y from?
LOL yeah sorry i am tired, i thought this was simplifying algebraic expression ahahah.
Yeah, i can understand that too, i am also tired. Do you know what is the question asking? b/c I don't!
maybe graph it?
I actually have no idea, i have been trying to ask a question myself for about 20 minutes but it seems all the math geniuses of the website are asleep or soemthing.
I was actually getting a lot of help this morning and afternoon.
you don't need to graph this
Ahaha 26 minutes and still no response ( http://openstudy.com/study#/updates/526742dde4b029b030db62f3)
\[4x+y=6\] \[4x+y-4x=6-4x\] \[y=6-4x\] \[y=-4x+6\] \[Slope=-4\] Can you graph this?
I might just have to come back later and check if someone answered my question :o.
what was it? Tag me there if it was unanswered! I am good at Math (Trig and below)
