help please !!! i need a little guidance ... simplify completely:

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[\frac{ 6y ^{2}-5y+1 }{1-y-6y ^{2} }\] then it = \[\frac{ (3y-3)(2y-2) }{(3y-3)(2-2y) }\] then the (3y-3) cancels on top and bottom and the (2y-2){top} (2-2y){bottom} cncels out to -1 .... right ????????

OpenStudy (anonymous):

that is correct \[(2-2y)=-(2y-2)\] so \[(2y-2)/(2-2y) = -1\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay thank you (:
