How do you know or tell what the product is when given solid phosphorus oxide (P4O10) reacts with water? I know the answer should be P4O10 + 6H2O -> 4H3PO4? But how did they get and know that it makes H3PO4 (phosphoric acid)? P4O10 is not phosphate?
